Byrd Park:
287-acre park with trails for walking and biking. One of which is a fitness walking trail with stops for exercises along the way. Also with free public tennis courts. 600 S. Boulevard Richmond, VA.
Northbank Trail:
Long trail that leads to isolated sandy beach areas and sunbathing rocks and connects to the Belle Isle Pedestrian Bridge to the east. Runs from the Boulevard Bridge to Tredegar, parking at Texas Beach lot, the Tredegar lot and on-street at various spots along the route.
Pumphouse Park:
Canals with river water in them, paths, and a gorgeous Victorian Gothic building that was once the pumphouse for the city. 1627 Pump House Dr., turn onto Pump House Dr. just north of the Boulevard Bridge tollbooth; on-street parking available
Maymont:
